Homelessness Prevention
The Homeless Prevention Program offers rental/mortgage assistance, utility payments, and supportive services to individuals and families at risk of eviction or homelessness. Services are designed to stabilize housing and shorten shelter stays.
- Eligibility: Individuals or families in danger of eviction, foreclosure, or currently homeless. A temporary economic crisis must be documented, along with the ability to meet future rental obligations.
- Services Provided:
- Rent or mortgage payments (including arrears)
- Utility payments (including arrears)
- Security deposits
- Job preparation, housing location, and case management
